How Your Bad Habits Impact Everyone Around You

Have you ever wondered how your bad habits impact everyone around you?

When you get revved up on 3 or 4 cups of coffee before going to work, you are bringing anyone who is in your sphere around you out of their peaceful state and into a revved up state. This is because everything is connected. When two auric fields touch, something happens called transference.

Your Struggle Becomes Everyone Else's Struggle

When transference occurs, the base state that you’re struggling with becomes part of that other person’s struggle. So, when they’re around you, they now have to feel your anxiety. This means that by consuming anxiogenics, anxiety causing agents like caffeine, we are essentially sharing our stress with those around us.

For example, parents who manage their stress with a negative management tool called caffeine or nicotine, need to realize that they’re having an impact on the children that they’re raising. They also need to realize that those children have no defense against the parent’s anxious state. The children absorb their parents' anxious energy and may begin to feel anxious themselves.

Think about it.

Is that quick fix worth the ripple effect it could be having on the people around you?

Take Time to Reflect on Your Decisions

Reflecting on the broader implications of our coping strategies and how your bad habits impact everyone around you can lead to more conscious decisions. While a temporary fix might ease our stress, it's essential to weigh the long-term effects on our relationships and the well-being of others. By making thoughtful choices about managing stress and energy levels, we can cultivate a more harmonious environment for everyone involved.
