Sometimes, anxiety manifests itself as racing thoughts. But where does that anxiety come from? And how do you calm racing thoughts so that you can enjoy life again?
Why You Experience Racing Thoughts
When someone experiences anxiety, it is a result of their organs producing too much heat from a blockage in the body. That blockage is a result of the unresolved stress and tension held in their body.
For example, the excessive amount of heat that's being generated by the heart causes that heat to rise. When the heart gets too hot it starts, what they call in Traditional Chinese Medicine, misting the mind. And when someone's mind gets misted, there are too many thoughts going in too many directions simultaneously and it makes it very difficult for them to be emotionally grounded.
When someone lacks that emotional grounding, anxiety is what shows up. Anxiety tends to quickly become a regular pattern inside of you, and is pervasive in every aspect of one's life.
How to Calm Racing Thoughts
In order to calm racing thoughts, or the misting of the mind, the body needs to go back into a neutral state. One can accomplish that by releasing their lifetime accumulated tension and stress loads.
As your body opens that allows the excessive heat in your organs to have a channel to move out of your system. So as they move out, the temperature drops, the mind gets quiet, the racing stops. Now the emotions and the anxiety reduces. Thats the strategy. Have patience with yourself. Every step you take every day it's going to pay off. so let this be your motivation
You need to bring your body back into a neutral state by releasing that tension. By doing so, you’re dialing back the heat. And as the temperature drops, so do your racing thoughts.
By taking simple, intentional steps to cool down your body and mind, you can find relief from anxiety and cultivate a greater sense of calm.
